NIkko Brat works - Part 2 ***

Like wrote in the previous post, just arrive to me two rare kit of a Nikko Super Sprint and a Brat Works.

The Brat Works is a very rare item especially in kit form. This is the most completed set with conversion  1 & 2.

With Set number 1 you can upgrade your Nikko Dandy Dash or Super Sprint in the full racing buggy Brat. So a buggy with a main chassis for saddle pack and a low C.G. for racing.

The Conversion kit 2 is the upgrade called "Brat Works" with better internal components; so better dampers, center ball diff., strenght front and rear diff for high power motors and you dont need a supersprint for build the Brat Works. So set 1 & set 2 is also the Brat full car.

Nikko Super Sprint & Brat kits NIB (1/10) - PART 1 ****

During the golden era of japanease 1/10 Off road buggy Nikko released, in the second half of 80', some buggy also for serious competitions. It was the Super sprint, the Dandy dash and the super rare Brat.

Here is the kits of my super sprint and the brat NIB (full version).

The quality of this Super Sprint is very good better compared to some Tamiya buggy of the time (for example a Boomerang). Full ball bearings set, Suspension in aluminium and belt drive.  It's not a 100% pure racing buggy but the components of kit are fine.

If you added the upgrade "Brat Works conversion kit 1" this car could become the super competition buggy "The Brat" (see the other my article here: http://japan-hobby.blogspot.com/2012/02/nikko-brat-works-part-2.html

Pure Lotus magazine & other Lotus gadgets.

I owned a nice yellow Lotus Esprit S4 2.0 at the end of 90'. Sold a lot of years ago. I still have some Lotus gadget from those years

Here are the 4 issues of "Pure Lotus" a magazine released in the 1998/99 for only 4 numbers for lotus owner and fan. It has been released every 4 months. A lot of articles on it about lotus cars, Lotus F1 pilot legend, Hethel factory, ecc.

Who remember the  M250 Project?! It was also presented at the Geneve Motor Show (2000) and also at Goodwood Festival od Speed.  I was ready to change my Esprit with this car but it has bot been released. The engine had to be an 3000cc for 250hp.
