New Japanease book about '90 vintage console.

Just landed from Japan the following books about NEC PC Engine, Sega Megadrive and Nintendo SuperNES.

In every book is listed all the games, accessory and hardware released during their life, year after year.

Nec Pcengine with CDROM

This is my old NEC Pc Engine with CDROM bought some decades ago. Is still really in nice conditions in white color. At time this little 8-Bit console was a really beast, with 16-bit performance, with great graphics and sounds.

In the pics you can see also my NeC PC Engine LT (portable Lat top) with his CD-ROM attached.

PC ENGINE GT

I bought this Pc Engine GT in the mid of '90. It has been released by nec during console war of that era. This is the USA version called Turbo Express.

This portable console is still awesome and it is in like new conditions after 20 years. You can play the same games, on hu-card, of pc engine home console on this portable. Absolute the best portable console available on the market untill the begin of 2000.

Nec Duo Monitor and Duo-R console

Here are some of my vintage console Pc Engine consoles release by Nec in the begin of '90. They are:

 - a Duo monitor a nice portable monitor for pc engine console and also a portable TV with an internal tuner.

. and a Pc Engine Duo-R a special pc engine console with a cd-rom reader included.

Rom2 Amp and supergrax by Nec

Other awesome items from nec from console wars of the begin of '90.

The supergrafx console was the new console released by Nec after the fabolous pcengine. It was not a 16 bit console but a 8bit with a custom cpu. It was not a true commercial success infact only 7 games has been released. In every case this console was 100% compatible with pcengine's games.

The Rom2 amp was an accessory for pcengine for use it like a Karaoke unit.The Rom2. With his special speaker the sounds and music of pcengine's games had a better audio.

NEC PC SUPER Grafx

I bought this supergrafx in the '90. It is an upgraded version of the PC Engine, released exclusively in Japan, primarily in response to the Super Famicom by Nintendo. My SuperGrafx is of course in like new conditions.

It has originally announced as the PC Engine 2, the machine was purported to be a true 16-bit system with improved graphics and audio capabilities over the original PC Engine. Expected to be released in 1990, the SuperGrafx was rushed to market, debuting several months earlier in late 1989 with only modest improvements over the original PC Engine.

This version comes already with rgb video conversion so i can connect the console to a TV with a normal scart plug.

I own two dedicate games for Super Grafx; Daikamura it's a action platform by Capcom where you have to defect lots of demoniac creatures and save your princess. The game is well programmed, hard to play with awesome graphic.

The other one is Battle-Ace, is a shooter in after-burner style.
