Project Carlo (Endless-R Bnr34) - Part 7: highlights about special parts

Here is some picture about special part i fitted in my "new" car:

Project Carlo (Endless-R Bnr34) - Part 6: Fitting the engine in the car

After removing my old engine the car has been stripped for paint the engine bay, from stock flat black to bayside blue. The underside of chassis had some rust so it has been coated with special paint for remove it.
Then fit the new tomei RB28 engine with the HKS VCAM PRO, the new turbo kit (an HKS T51R-KAI BB) and custom fuel system with two big bosch 550 motorsport pumps.

Project Carlo (Endless-R Bnr34) - Part 5: Final assembly of engine

So time to finish the engine. All the parts has been assembled. So the vcamed  tomei RB28 is ready for shipping in my contry. But i said to Endless-r that i decide to ship my full bnr34 to them.

Project Carlo (Endless-R Bnr34) - Part 4: The Endless-r race head

An old head of a R32 has been refurbished and tuned by Sugino san in person. Very long full process with "right" springs and valves for my 800ps engine with superspool.

Project Carlo (Endless-R Bnr34) - Part 3: The Tomei 2.8 shortblock

Like wrote the project began in the 2008. So when the car arrived in Japan, last june 2010, the engine was ready to fit. Here is some highlights: From the 87mm 2.8 Tomei stroker kit out of the carton box  to full engine.

Project Carlo (Endless-R Bnr34) - Part 2: The car arrive in Japan

Finally after about 2 month the car arrive (safe) in Kobe port and after customs check Endless-r can bring the car in their garage. The travel very slow because too many container in China when the container has changed the boat.

I sold my previous engine (about 580ps engine) to a friend here in Italy. So before remove and ship back the engine, a VCAM step I has been added with also a full map by Endless in a HKS FCON PRO 3.3. The result is awesome, more of 650ps.
 
After those mod my old engine has been removed from the car and "project Carlo" finally begin.

Project Carlo (Endless-R bnr34) - Part 1: The departure

Here is some short highlights about "project Carlo" (the name that endless-r gave to this project) on my Nissan Skyline GTR R34 Vspec in UK configuration.

The project began in the 2008 when Endless-r started to build a RB shortblock with tomei 2.8 stroker in a N1 block . So at the begining i wanted only a  shortblock for my GTR and then fit the head and previous 2530 turbo here in my country. But at the end Endless-r built a full engine with their race head. Then i added also a VCAM (the best tuning part for an rb26/28) and a big single turbo (T51R-KAI BB) and a lot of particular and parts.
Japanease tuner knows how to build an RB engine. Really a lot of details on engine for better reliable, keep low temp and other tips. Ina secont time i decided to ship my car also in Japan for a full rebuild.
